Welcome to Young Adult Skills Program
Beginning September 1, 2026, SoCal Adaptive Sports is proud to assume management of the established Young Adult Skills (YAS) Program in Cathedral City.
YAS provides young adults with disabilities the opportunity to build friendships, develop life skills, stay active, and participate in meaningful community experiences. We are excited to build upon the strong foundation already in place while maintaining the supportive and inclusive environment that participants and families value.
As part of the SoCal Adaptive Sports family, YAS will continue to offer engaging social, recreational, fitness, and life-skills activities that help participants grow in confidence, independence, and connection.

SoCal Adaptive Sports is growing! We’re hiring a Young Adult Skills (YAS) Program Manager in Cathedral City. We’re looking for a hands-on, passionate leader who enjoys working with young adults with disabilities and creating meaningful opportunities for connection, recreation, fitness, and personal growth. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to grow into additional hours as the program expands. Join us in building a more inclusive and connected community!
